We’re celebrating the fourth and final mobile photographer who wowed both us and the Android Editors community as part of the #AE_Pixlr Photo Challenge this past few weeks. We’re incredibly impressed by all the very artistic people who can do amazing things with their mobile phones. And they don’t always need to use a zillion effects and overlays to get great results. As with this lovely silhouette, sometimes all you need is to tweak the details. Read all about Rosman Nizar and how he approaches mobile photography in the Android Editor profile.
Pixlr Challenge Feature with Rosman Nizar
“There are few things that capture my attention more than emotive images. There is something else, something extraordinary about catching people feeling. Whether it’s pain, sadness, anger, excitement, joy or my favorite, love. What drew me to Rosman’s image was the sheer simplicity of it and really honoring the moment shared between two people in love. You don’t even have to see their faces to know the emotion they share between them, the silhouette says it all. I found this image to be perfectly executed and reading about Rosman below, you’ll know just how much heart he puts into his work and his desire to share the true essence of moments, which is apparent in the image Josh and I selected as one of our 4 features. With all of the crazy and amazing artfully done edits we saw in the feed, it was really nice to see someone use Pixlr, which is known for their immense overlay options and layers, simply and just to enhance an already wonderful photograph. This image exudes passion from the subjects and the observer so it was no surprise it was one of our favorites.” - Jessii Powers -
