Lunar New Year Borders, Overlays, and Stickers in Pixlr Express

image

Gung Hay Fat Choy! We’re celebrating Lunar New Year with a new Pixlr Express effects pack. This pack will be available until February 14th, and it’s full of the kind of red and gold iconography that’s a classic staple of new year celebrations throughout Asia. We’re not limiting this to just any specific countries, though. We’re including these effects in versions of Pixlr Express all around the world. In this pack, you’ll find things like cloud borders, seasonal overlays, red money envelopes, gold ingots, lanterns, firecrackers, and of course a horse sticker because this is the Year of the Horse.

What does that mean? Well, opinions differ, but the Year of the Horse is supposedly a fortunate year that can bring luck. If you were born in 2002, 1990, 1978, 1966, 1954, 1942, 1930, or 1918 (assuming you’re still alive), you are in theory cheerful, popular, and fun loving as a Year of the Horse person. But we’re going to bet that no matter when you were born there’s a little bit of cheerful fun lover in you — and we hope you’ll use these Lunar New Year borders, overlays, and stickers to show it.
